Questionnaire Development
ACORN Questionnaires are constructed using
Measurement 2.0
methods.
Select items from pool of items which have been well tested in outpatient treatment settings.
Normative information available at the item level
Case mix information includes diagnosis, age and sex
Item scores for intake and repeated assessments
Multiple organizations pooling data contribute to robust norms across varied populations
Item selection employs both
Classical Test Theory
and
Item Response Theory
.
Special thanks to
Warren Lambert, PhD
and the
Vanderbilt Center for Evaluation and Program Improvement
for the use of the Peabody measures and assistance with development of the adult questionnaires.
Questionnaires are constructed to assure comparability of scores and rate of change across alternative versions
