Regence providers' outcomes improved again in 2010!
- Over all outcomes for all patients improved significantly over 2009 results.
- Regence providers' SAES for clinical range case in the Highly Effective range
Increases in effect sizes appear to be correlated with Toolkit usage. Clinicians who used the Toolkit frequently were significantly more likely to show improvement during 2010 than those who did not. To read more, see:

More information
The Regence behavioral health
outcomes informed care pilot project came about at the encouragement of a large employer and a core group of forward looking behavioral health providers committed to providing evidence of the
effectiveness and
value of behavioral health services. As a result, Regence agreed to provide funding to cover the cost of questionnaire development, data capture and reporting for those clinicians who wish to explore the implications of outcomes informed care for their practices.

The project is designed for those clinicians who are familiar with the evidence for
outcomes informed care and see the potential benefit to all of their patients of using outcome questionnaires as a routine part of treatment. The project is also designed to serve the needs of those clinicians who wish to use outcome data to demonstrate the value of their services to employers and other referral sources. How this is achieved will depend on the wishes of the participating clinicians.
